What is currently the best deal for HD650s right now? Razordog? I might just pass.

I have an unbuilt bottlehead crack w/speedball, are there cans that can replace the synergy with HD650?

No ****. It's been out for 10 years now.

Well, I was in the Waitlist for just about 3 and a half hours and didn't end up getting the DT-880..   To hoping for some other deal to show up.

Does anyone remember when the good deals were rolling on Black Friday last year? Was it in the morning or afternoon? At this point I think I will go to bed.

Seems so. Not sure about a replacement.

Dt 880 600 ohms used from amazon warehouse deals for $167 honestly this is the best price you are going to find they never go that cheap even on the f/s thread, if you don't pay tax its a steal even with tax it comes out to $183

10 years old and people are still trying to get them.  they must be doing something right.  I like a good deal as the next but stop whining that something didn't go on some ridiculous sale price.

That aside.... the portapro's for 25 is a steal imo and the philip downtowns are too for 17.  Either one with the clip zip and zx sony headphones for 18 would be a killer budget rig for under 50 bucks.

The ue900 and the x3 would be a great monster setup for on the cheap.... around 340 total.  If i didnt' already have a dx50 I would have gotten the X3 for 140.

Anyone know a good set of active computer speakers for ~$300?

Just a note from my side:

I think the permanent price of the HE-400 is now 299$.

On the Hifiman site, if you click on products, you see a temporary price cut of 100$ on the HE-300 price but the HE-400's price is just only 299$. That might be the new price point.

Just wondering, how much would a headphone cost to make IRL? Or like everything most of the cost is involved in R&D, marketing, brand value and loyalty?

How safe is it buying used headphones?  I honestly have no clue.

I'm currently living outside of the US (Having a friend bring them down when she come visits in December), so returns would be difficult/impossible.

The best deal last year was the leaked sennheiser internal coupon, way before black Friday.

It was just a bit weird that one has a temporary price but while another has it's price changed and so I pointed it out. A new series seems a good bet now that you mention it.

I'm guessing pretty safe? For the most part they (manufacturers) don't honor warranties but amazon warehouse has 30 days for returns and they refund in full. I have purchased quite a few things from amazon warehouse not headphones but other things, and they always come out fine I have even purchased alot of headphones here and with the exception of one that had a slight channel imbalance I have had great experiences. Just think about whether or not saving almost $100 dollars is worth the small risk that they might break after?

I'm just worried because I wouldn't be able to return it within the 30 days..  I think I would rather play it safe and buy something new with a warranty.
