New portable combo (Clip zip + mid range IEM vs Fiio x3)

Ok so my old portable combo was clip zip + sound magic e30. But unfortunately the my Sansa died month ago. After a month of crappy Android experience i decided to get a new music player.

2 options:

I can get a new sansa and a new 140-ish IEM

or

get the x3 and stick with the E30

Does the X3 worth that upgrade?

Also if i goes with the sansa which IEM should i get (i listen mostly to hip hop, sometime rock)

And my current "bulky" combo is E17 + M50, so the X3's DAC function is not a selling point to me

Get the X3, you always upgrade the IEMs later,

getting the source as good as you can is the golden rule of audio.

Now i'm thinking go with the sansa and get the X1 next year. Love the X1 design!

And the sansa + X1 (assume it's 100$) still cheaper than X3
