Best Headphone For Less Than $100

So guys my Skullcandy Hesh 2's AUX cable keeps getting screwed up and I've given up buying new ones. I'm looking for good over ear headphones for under $100. I mainly listen to EDM so a headphone that has sound that suits EDM would be best.

Looking through the forums, I've noticed a couple and I'm having trouble choosing. Here are a few that I'm considering:

Sennheiser HD 280

Creative Aurvana Live

Audio Technica ATH M30

VModa Crossfade LP

I can go over $100 and am really considering the ATH M50. Basically, all of the above options are second choices just in case I can't get my hands on an M50. I live in Canada so I could only find M50's for $150+ and when the time comes I don't know how much I will be able to spend. So, any idea out of the four which one would suit me the most? If there are better headphones please suggest them. Just don't get me mind boggled :P

Audio-Technica AD700 if you don't mind the lack of bass,

Superlux 668b ($40 or so),

Some nice beyerdynamic dt770/880/990 (might need an amp) can be found on classifieds/ebay used for under $100 occasionally.

Which one of those has good bass while maintaining highs and mids?

What he said.

But to save you some time, Senn HD 428. $50 and sound much better.

I just bought a pair of UE6000 from an authorized dealer for my girlfriend for $77.14 today. Definitely check it out.

If you were able to find a cheap DT770 that'd be a great beginners hp for EDM. UE6000 is a very good headphone as well mentioned above. Ignore the AD700 recommendation, definitely not any good at EDM and is open so you wont be able to use it portable.

I had the DT770 (80ohms) for a period and they kicked ass for EDM, the bass is very impactful and has great rumble. For portable use I'd assume you could get the 32 ohms.

A700X is my choice for around $100 for closed back, and if you're out and about.

Go for the Skull Candy Aviator, they are better imo than all you listed. Lovely tone and great mid range
Bass is Decent and very versatile.

Yeah, I have 32hom and they sound fairly good out with electronic music of my ipod. I prefer them amped, but they will do without one. They honestly had too much bass for me, so I taped the bass ports a little and it evened out the sound and made the bass tighter.
