VERY difficult time choosing headphones.. PLEASE HELP!

Hey guys! So I'm in the market for some over the ear cans, ranging from $150 to $300.

I own a pair of Audio Technica ATH M50s and I think they sound great, the problem is they leak too much sound.. I recently bought a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770s 80ohm and they're great too, especially at isolating,  but I've decided to return them because the bass just sounds too weak for my taste.. Even with an external amp.

Im driving these with an iPhone/iPod. What headphones do you recommend? They have to have a little bit of bass (not super flat like the DT 770s) but they can't leak as much as the ATH M50s..

Thanks a lot guys! I really appreciate it!

 DT770/80ohm........too ...  flat???  :confused_face_2:

Greetings and welcome to Earth. What planet do you hail from?

Seriously though, if those Beyers sound too flat for you the only recourse I can suggest is a graphic equalizer with 30db of adjustment in both directions and make a nice smiley face with it.

If you are using your headphones on-the-go and care about leakage, either in or out, I strongly recommend getting a nice set of IEMs.  Isolation is far and away better than ANY fs/portable and you can stow them and their case in a pocket when you're not using them.

get a beats studio, and bump the bass boost to max. but seriously, dt770 80 ohm is one of the basshead headphones that sound good. have you burn them in for a long period of time ?
