Check this thread out:

The reviews are A8 for the crossfade lp and A17 for the m-80. The crossfade lp is around-ear (circumaural) and the m-80 is on-ear (supra-aural), so you might have to try them out yourself. I know v-moda has the m-100 on a 60 day trial, so you can try them risk-free for about 2 months. There might be the same for the other models.

so i read through the forum, but the one thing it said was the M-80's are a bit on the low side of isolation and comfort. does this mean i wont be able to listen to music in a quiet room without others hearing it?

Well, v-moda is not much into retail and is a relatively new company, so it seems that you will have to go through amazon or the official m-moda site. The good news is that there is a 60-day test drive period, where they will not bill you for 60 days. You can try it out for 45 days and leave extra time for you to pack it and send it back to the right place, just in case you do not want it. I found out that it applies to all of their earbuds and headsets. Just try the one you want out, and if you do not like it, send it back.

No, that is sound leakage, which is when others can hear your music. Isolation is how muh external sound is blocked AND how much internal sound can be heard clearly. People here are meaningful, but no matter how you slice it, it is whether or not you ask v-moda for a 60-day test drive and try it on your ears. They will ask for you for your cc number, but that is a deposit in case your trial goes past 60 days. You'll take care of it, though.
