has anyone tried this music player? looks a bit like a clone of winamp, but is very lightweight in terms of ressources usage. it supports 32-bit audio processing and asio, wasapi and wasapi exclusive are supported for output.

Im interested to know if its quality wise up on par with winamp & maiko wasapi plugin. so if the program really outputs everything losslessly when you play songs after another which each have different sample rate and bit-depth or if theres maybe some kind of conversion and not bit-perfect playback involved.

I recommend doing some reading on this thread.

The guys talk about aimp vs foobar differences. They also talk about other popular software for audio playback.

I'ts been a while since i don't use the good ol' winamp but i've heard it's going to be discontinued next month.

difference vs foobar might not help me much, because Ive never been a foobar user (and prolly never will be). thats why I asked about winamp & wasapi

Heard comments about Aimp being superior to winamp w/wasapi, but it's all subjective. I wish to be more of help but i haven't spent much time with it.
