Haha I don't think you'll have to worry about that..
If X1 performs well, I'd recommend it over the C3 as it's a better package overall.

oh no,confusion again

looks like a little wait for 3-4 months will be a better option:)

I do expect X1 to sound better than Sansa Clip, if it doesn't I'd be quite disappointed. if it's proven so I will try one, because FiiO will have the features and UI. However knowing FiiO's house sound (which I am not a fan) I worry about lack of detail and technical ability, keeping in perspective the price point of course. Once you hear Hisound Studio 3rd Anv with the correct synergy, it makes life hard to take some other audiophile players seriously, that includes DX50 which I kept for a month and sold rather quickly.

Nova series completely failed unfortunately. It was a disaster. Hisound should never of discontinued the Rocco BA and Rocco P, the Studios are completely different story, they sound that good. But can hiss a little bit with certain parings.

If the x1 has the same UI as the x5 it's a winner
post #429 of 7658

i think it will prolly be the same, since it seems to have the same interface, a scroll wheel

I doubt FiiO will be that* free/jobless to design different UI for each of their X series unless they uses completely different control

so far they had 2 daps and 2 different ui's.  So who knows.  Just because both has a scroll wheel doesnt mean both will have the same ui.  Hoping they do but suggesting its not possible to have a different ui's is ridiculous.

Keep in mind though, if they happen to release another different Ui for X1, they may need 3 seperate team just to work on the system firmware: one for X1, one for X3 and another one for X5. If X7 uses again, a different firmware, they need another team. Wouldn't that result in more cost? smily_headphones1.gif

Purely my opinion, others may disagree xD

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
