Is there any way how to resume with the same track or even on the same position after the X1 was powered off and powered on again?

Seems like it always starts with the first song after powering on.

There is an option for that in play settings.
Play settings > Resume mode > Position

Thanks! Somehow I've missed this setting the whole time...

Hi this is my first post - Does anyone know how to delete the 'Favorites' cue file? I had previously loaded files and made alot of Favorites, but I deleted and renamed many of them now even after updating 'Media Lib' the files on the X1 still show up in the Favorites list and when I try and play them or 'Random' play the Fav. cue they show error '!Playback Failed File Not Found'. So my question is does anyone know how to delete or update the 'Favorites cue' short of formatting the sd card and starting over?

Right now , Yes, but we will fix this issues in the future by firmware updating.

Is there in anyway i could go to another song (by pressing the next button) from another album after I finished the 1st album that Im playing? it seems like it'll go back again to the 1st song from the album that I've played.

Only if both albums are in the same folder and are in numerical order.  This is the biggest issue many of us have, that there is not a folder to folder advance.

Comparing to Cowon C2 with my AKG K550, full volume (40) on Cowon is about 80 of 100 on X1.

So even if I try updating the firmware its still not going to happen right? That's one of my issues in the X1 because, Im used to my Sansa Fuze. Another thing is once you started listening to the music and the lights on the LCD turn off and you need to pause or change the music, you still need to press the power buttong again in order for the other buttons to work.

If you push the center button it will pause the track.  Push it again and it starts the track from the pause.  Certainly you can advance or go back a track by holding the volume buttons.  Both when the screen is turned off

There are different lockscreen settings to allow buttons to work when the device is locked:

1 - volume buttons

2 - volume buttons + center button

3 - volume buttons + center button + next/prev track buttons

I honestly don't know if this is the case, so a complete stab in the dark...but considering all the copyright bs these days, is it not possible that had Fiio been allowed to do folder to folder playback, they would've done so?
