Sure is, System Settings -> Update Media Lib. :)

Scan it after inserting your card for the first time.  On mine, it told me I had no music, but after a scan music was there in the Music folder in Menu.  Set the Scan to Auto and it should rescan every time you change things on the card, automatically.

Thank you gentlemen!!

I just bought the X1 and have been using it with my RE400i for the last hour. And I came up with this very short review: they are born for each other, it's simply amazing. It's that good, seriously!
Back to listening. Hopefully I will be able to turn the X1 off and write a review about this pairing.

Take a look at page 215. @H20Fidelity compared them.

I've had both.  The C3 is very flat eq, is very clean-sounding but kind of impersonal in sound.  No UI to speak of.  And benefitted from an amp.  The X1 isn't as flat on eq, is very clean-sounding, has a lot of personality, has a very good UI, doesn't really need an amp.  For the price I would choose the X1.

when will x7 release?

You should try the X1 with the E11, it sounds really good. I had plans not to buy this and after listening to the X1/E11 combo I just may. I have a tour X1 right now.

Right now this is probably the thread to follow.

I think I'm done with amps for a while.  I walk with my players and carrying a stack is do-able, but so far the X5 and X1 seem just fine by themselves.

Agreed. I never amp my Fiio DAPS, that's one of the benefits of them.

From what I have read the X1 doesn't have bass boost. Should this be a deal breaker for a borderline basshead? Assuming use without an amp.

It does have a 7-band equalizer, so you can mess with the lower frequencies to your liking.
