According to this -> http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00NS3MRKC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You can still buy it. Not sure whats going on, but it pisses me off a bit.

Edit:

Well I bought it from the Fiio-Shop.de now. Yeah I actually had to pay 6€ more for shipping costs, instead of the 89,99€ without shipping costs by Amazon... But oh well. Nevermind, I guess. Still not happy with that... And a bit disappointed by that.
Welcome in the club ordered it also from there :3

Judging by your reply stating 'X11' it seems that you are on an iOS device that wants to incessantly correct X1 to X11. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's my guess.

Aha. Spot on. I presumed that the link was broken. Many thanks, I'll boot the computer up. I went straight there when I got the X1 or as you correctly say - X11 and nothing worked.

I'll get it now and stop moaning about a lack of manual then!!! wink.gif

Really appreciated. Many thanks for your help.

Yes eq is one very strong point in walkmans,though only 5 band but it works wonders.

My personal favourite wass clear bass with gr07 pairing.

Will u comment on eq of x1,mainly on bass boost?

@sardar17

For my Sony player, my EQ settings are usually tuned towards the higher frequency. The first 2 lower frequency band are by default, followed by the other higher frequency bands gradually up a notch for every frequency (I love my highs). So the settings for my EQ would look like a nice ascending curve upwards. The X1 bass sounds more natural to me, Sony's bass sounds "boomsy" by default EQ settings at 0 decibels, in some music i had to tone down the first 2 bands by a notch.

Personally the Sony sounds more for mainstream pop / dance / club music for its "boomsy" bass. I listen to rock/metal mostly and I don't like my bass drums sounds to be "boomsy". As for the highs, I love the crashing of the cymbals.

As of now, I've loving the X1 with my EQ set to OFF. So far I'm enjoying loving the X1's sound signature without any EQ.

As for the bass boost, I can't comment as I'm not a bass lover. I'm listening it with my trusty TF10 by the way.

Headphonebar finally has the X1 available for purchase. CAD$115 total, can't wait :D

Edit: Headfoneshop has it as well, but it ends up being more expensive after provincial tax and shipping costs :P

@koan1011

Please get from a reliable brand. Sandisk, Kingston, Samsung to name a few. Price wise, I believe Kingston will be a couple of dollars cheaper than Sandisk. Just get the cheapest class 10 would do. My X1 write speed is only about 4.5MB/s on average.

I think that SanDisk is the only actual manufacturer of 128 GB micro SD cards. Searching through the threads, I have seen multiple reports of fake Samsung and generic brand cards. Buy from a reputable retailer that accepts returns.

Thought I'd post a couple if Picts...this is how I use the X1 while out and about.

I received four days ago my FiiO X1 and i'm really happy with it, except for some problems that i hope will be addressed with future firmware release.

I already read that they are working on support for SDXC card, but i would like to have more readable colors for Graphics UI: at the moment, i find quite difficult to read text and icons because white text on "pastel color" background is quite confusing!

This problem can be simply solved providing a Black Theme with white text/icons or allowing to select black or white text/icon color...

I'm from Germany. So I wouldn't really buy anything from the USA, because of taxes. Also, the website doesn't work.

Hope Fiio will ship it tommorow..

Does the X1 not accept SDXC cards at the moment?

Yes I always buy from Amazon as they have a good return policy.

I'm just wondering if there are any type of cards that are know not to work specifically in the X1?

Not natively!

You need to format them in FAT32 with tools as GuiFormat...

I recently bought a 128 microsd to use with my iBasso DX50 and i replaced my 64 GB card, but the 64 GB card was not recognized from X1 and i had to format in FAT32 the card reinstalling after all my music!
