Mine should arrive by Friday - ordered a couple of days ago (also from TaoBao) - I'm happily filling a 128GB SD card in anticipation :) - It had better not suck - though I have heard the X1 has a godawful propensity to sound Bassy

Spoke to my supplier here in Australia today when I called him to order my HiFiMan HE400i headphones and he tells me I should have my X1 next week. Really looking forward to this device and the new headphones! Headphones are for home use only.

Silly Question. I gather the X1 does not have a dedicated line out jack? If so, does one use the high or the lo output. Or does it have a line out which renders this line of questioning moot.

Also, it seems like most reviews compare the X1 to the X5. Have we seen a comparison to the X3 yet? If so, what was the verdict?

1/ The iPhone 6 Plus is advertised as 80 hours for Audio, how true is this?

2/ If you only listen to FLAC files using a 3rd party app, approximately how much more battery will be used? (people with other iPhones can answer this too, my 5S only has 16gb so I don't even bother with FLAC or better)

I apologize if this comes off as rude, but I imagine there are better suited threads than this for answering your questions.

From what I've read, the headphone port is also the line out port.

Placed my order on Amazon from the Tinbel seller as well. Estimated delivery was Oct 1-7. I'll be patiently waiting! I want it asap!

Yes, taobao sellers only ship within China. You need to use an agent like MisterTao to order outside China.

100$ on Amazon. 106$ on Mistertao.

Why i should choose Mister T ?

Guys,

This is Jack from TekFX. I don't post here often but wanted to chime in on the X1 shipping situation.

MiccaStore.com in my memory has never advertised anything for pre-order prior to receiving stock. Sometimes a product listing would be enabled on the day that a delivery commitment has been received from UPS/DHL/FedEX, but no earlier than that. We all see from posts on forums like this one the anticipation and frustration that customers go through during a pre-order process - not knowing where you are on the wait list, whether the first shipment will cover your order, which other shop may get inventory faster, etc. Micca Store doesn't want to cause this type of frustration so products are never put on pre-order. When you see something is listed as "In Stock", that means it's there and available.

USPS has been getting better at updating product tracking and delivery status. However, the weak point is at package acceptance. Unlike UPS or FedEX who scans all packages upon acceptance, USPS accepts packages and then just sort of leave them in a pile to get scanned in later that day by one of their big sorting machines. So when you see that a package first showed up at USPS at 8:30pm, that package was most likely delivered to or picked up by USPS much earlier than that.

With regards to those who bought from Tinbel on Amazon, not sure if I am allowed to share tweets, but the mods can let me know if I've violated anything, here's a tweet from Tinbel showing a few of the X1's in stock:

I hope this information is helpful to you and helps address some of the concerns voiced thus far.

Jack

I am looking forward to buy one from amazon. But can anyone brief me its comparison with sansa clip+ in terms of sound quality? Is it worth the upgrade? I want to use my ath-m50 and shure se215 with it.
