Can I tighten my V6's?

Hello HeadFi,

I resurrected my Sony MDR V6's today (I, for the first time, soldered today.... I had to solder the wire that connects the ear cup to the headband successfully) but I forgot how loose my cans got (the clamping force has less of a force and the earcups are jiggly...). This is probably a stupid question and has a face palming solution that I could've figured out, but I was wondering if and how I can tighten the clamping force of the headphones? I assume just tighten the screws on the cans... but yeah I'd rather ask around first lol. The earcups themselves are a lot more flimsy than when I got them 3 years ago (I know you're probably wondering how these babies got so bad haha; 2 years of keeping them in a bookbag with 25lb textbooks is how). Thanks for your time and please let me know what I can do!

If you want the cups to squeeze your head harder, just bend the headband inwards. It's a piece of metal under some padding. Be gentle though. I don't think there's much you can do about the jiggly earcups.
