Need an in earphone that sounds similar to Yuin Pk3 ? Preferably under $60

Hi guys, first time posting on head-fi.org

I do not know much about audio, but my friend recommended my Yuin Pk3s and I absolutely love the sound of them. Now I want to find an in ear earphone that sounds similar/better to the yuin pk3s for under maybe $60? Btw I live in Canada.

Thank you

Two questions back to you...

What is the sound signature of the Yuin Pk3s?  Most of us have never heard them.

What equipment will be driving these new headphones?

Uh I'm a total noob so I'm not sure how to explain things :D
The yuin pk3 sounds really good in the mids and highs..?? But the bass isn't that good

thats all I can say, I don't know many audio terms

OK--that's a good start.

What do you use to drive them (plug them into)?

I use my iphone 4s to listen to music. I read that buying an amp such as an Fiio E11 or something like that improves the quality, is that true?

Probably not for $60 headphones--and of course the additional money would be better spent on getting better cans.

The Koss Porta Pros are great for the price, but are open, leak sound and don't isolate at all.  The open Grado SR60i are classics, but a bit over budget.

For closed cans, I would look to the CAL! at about $75 (all prices are U.S.) or Sony DRZX701IP Monitor Headphones for iPhone for $65.

The Sony DRZX701IP looks great, but those are headphones? I'm looking for in ear buds (for example the Bose ie2)

Sorry--your use of "headphone" threw me off.  I am not well versed on IEM's, so someone else will have to help you with those.
