Budget quality IEM help in the $400 or less range..

Hey guys,

I was visiting some friends during a trip to Brazil and my X10's mysteriously disappeared on my way out. in any case I've bee using my TF10's but they are killing me fit and seal wise.

I enjoy listening to Rock(STP, NIN, Rise against..) and EDM(Dubstep, drumstep, DnB..) I am looking to spend no more than $200, under would be better.. I enjoy my Bass tight, deep, and fast.. Sub bass ability is a plus.. I also want details and a nice 3D soundstage. I don't mind slightly rolled off high as long as the mid has some meat on the bones..I know i am asking for a lot, I think there might be something that can do a decent job of what I am looking for.

I've narrowed my list down to the following IEM's (last bit i have small ear canals, lemme know if i am making a bad choice)..

AudioFly AF56

HifiMan RE-400 - i read its neutral but it has good enough bass?

VSonic GR07 BE

Vsonic VC1000

Brainwavz B2

ATH-CKS77

Is there an IEM I missed, what are your thoughts on my choices?

For what you are describing heir 4a comes to mind. Too expensive though.
For that price I'd probably by some cheap ciems. Assuming your fully developed (over 25 to be on the safe side.)

I read your review offsite, I'm intrigued they sound very close to what i want minus the 3D airiness. you mentioned that they are mid orientated. Does the mid overpower both high and low or is there a more bass/mid centric sound with just enough treble to keep it fun? How is the detail is it sluggish or can it hang? I take the Lows end comes from the dynamic driver while the mids come from the armature. do they mesh well? Have you ever heard the UE TF10's? If so, how would you compare them to the Dunu 1000?

Detail is excellent, mids are not overpowering, just slightly forward. The sound is very coherent, not detached. You cannot tell where the drivers crossover. Yes the lows come from the dynamic driver.
Not heard the TF10.
