Upgrading from PC350 with 250€ budget

I have been looking into getting headphones better suited for music listening. I have figured few options but would like to know if they are worth the upgrade and if there are better options for my price point. Current options are HD598 and DT880, I listen to huge variety of music and have heard that HD598s are great for general music listening (I also prefer headphones that have bigger earpads). For Amp I have ASUS Xonar DG.

Thanks for help and sorry for horribly formatted post.

Sennheiser HD558 and Xonar DG

The 598's are a good place to start and are definitely an all-rounder in that price point.

They are also super comfortable and they sound great..

Here the prices are: HD558 (160€) and HD598 (190€), would the difference be worth 30€?

They share the same drivers. The only real difference other than looks is that the angle of the drivers are a little different inside the cups. I wouldn't consider them to be worth the extra money unless you really like the look of the 598 over the 558.

I don't think you would be unhappy with the DT880 either. I really liked my DT880 250 ohm. They're brighter than the pair of HD555's I used to have (those also share the same drivers as the HD558 and HD598) So if you like your bass deep and highs bright I would go with the DT880. Whatever you decide to do, I think you will be happy.

558 seem to be out of stock so I think I will go with 598s, Thanks for help!
