Which headphones should I buy

Hello Everyone,

I am in a problem right now in choosing the right type of cans for myself. I know this forum consists of a lot of experts and first time users who have gained knowledge from the forum and have finally found out the best suite for themselves. Guys I am searching frantically and have came across this forum. I am really hopeful that I get your recommendations.

Requirements: I want something to watch movies in my laptop and LED TV, These are primarily Hollywood movies( boomy noise). For music which should sound good i.e. wide sound stage, instrument separation, Proper Bass and accurate treble. In short, the sound of songs in the regular headphones are somewhat flat. I want something that shows the sound in an accurate manner i.e closest to the actual recorded version. My budget is under 200 USD.

Dilemma: I have zeroed on ATH M50 but have also read that its cons are a flat sound and are uncomfortable over larger time periods.

The other cans that I was looking at is the ATH 900/700 ; Ultrasone HFI 580 ; Grado sr60i.

Guys a lot depend  upon your guidance. Please help me get the right pair.

Also please suggest where in Dubai can I get what you recommend if you know about it.

Thank You in Advance

Cheers.

I at this price I would get the audio technica ATH-AD700X if you stay in your home
If you travel, I would opt for the m50 or the something like the Shure SRH440

I am no good with headphone (haven't tested them except the m50)
I have a JVC rx-ha700 (30$ headphone)
if you are only at your, I would get the ath ad700x, since they look a lot more comfortable
The Ath m50 doesn't fit well on my head (small head) but the sound is pretty good plugged into an iPod.

So my first choice would be the ath ad700x
