If you are near to Dortmund and plan on going to the High-End Show this weekend Nov 16-17, you are welcome to come by to say 'hi' and to checkout the upcoming nano iDSD and iCAN (portable range) which are coming out in the NEXT FEW WEEKS.

Of course you are also able to put a pre-order down for the nano iDSD and iCAN which are shipping in the coming weeks. The iDSD is US$189 and the iCAN is US$169 (subject to final confirmation).

If you are not in Germany, we'll be doing daily updates here:

Disclaimer: don't look if you like good food because there's plenty of nice food in Germany to plug. Oh and we will flag the occasional beer as well!

Here's a teaser:

Enjoy!

Hi iFi,

Does it mean the coming iFi iCan will be coming with a built into battery?

Thanks,

On Sunday, we managed to get our paws on the FABS IEMs from Germany

and the KEF M500 headphones.

We ran both sets of :L3000:'phones into: Computer > iUSB > iDAC > iTUBE > nano iCAN.

Our sonic findings (albeit at a show) can be found here:

This is the fun of exhibiting at shows and meeting great people and their work.

Makes it all worthwhile.

iDSD:

iPhono/iPad requires OEM CCK.

Android requires OTG (also subjecto the manufacturer as Android is not compliant with USB AC 2.0)

iCAN

has 3.5mm and RCA inputs so at home or out and about, the user just connects the audio outs.

thanks

Has anyone tried the ican nano? :)

I bought a unit of the iDSD from Stereo as I need the DAC function, I must say I'm very impressed with the sound I'm hearing. I'm still running on 16/44.1 so next will be to download some HD tracks....
