For Sale:
Denon D2000 w/Cocobolo cups OR D5000 w/Brazilian Rosewood

Will Ship To: CONUS

Martin Custom Audio built these custom extra deep cups for my Denon D2000 as well as shortened the cable to a manageable 6'.  Sound is classic Denon, only better.  Deep deep bass that is not boomy in any way, shape or form thanks to the Lawton mods on the driver.  NO mods in the cups - they don't need it.................

Comes with either Lawton angle or Alpha pads (haven't decided yet) as well as the HD650 headband comfort mod, this is an amazing headphone that will never go out of style.

$500 firm plus shipping and Paypal fees.

Never thought I'd do this and hate to sell but I'm up to something that I can't say at this point and need the $$ to make happen.  Something had to go and it was either this or my D5000.  Being my first "real" headphone this has sentimental value to me - it opened up my eyes to the fact that an XB500 is not an audiophile headphone as I once thought.  Now it is one of my favorites that I rank up with my other Denon brothers, the D5K and D7K.

Speaking of the D5000, it too is for sale.........$650 with Brazilian Rosewood cups, Alpha pads and the HD650 headband mod as well. After one of these sell, the other comes off the market.

Good luck with the sale man. They are beautiful headphones! I know how hard it can be to sell audio gear, you grow attached to it. My Pro 900 was my first "real" headphone, and I don't think I could part with it just for that reason alone!

Martin always does gorgeous work.  If he wasn't already making me a pair of custom cups, these would have disappeared from your inventory the second I saw this post.  And everyone is absolutely correct about the price.....FANTASTIC!!!  Especially considering that most people are asking $300 for used D2k's in decent condition alone.  Anyone on the fence about these, better snatch em' up.  From experience I can also tell you Oregonian is a great seller....just my two cents.

GLWS!
