For Sale:
PUC2Lite - Exceptional USB to AES interface (Excellent condition)

Will Ship To: European Union

This is for selling my PUC2 Lite interface. Purchased mid-August in the UK, it's in like new condition. I am no longer using it due to upgrades in my downstream and thus decided selling. It will be missed - I have tested many interfaces and this was better than the Audiophilleo and Audiobyte Hydra for example. It can also be used as an USB to SPDIF interface with a couple of tweaks as here: http://2channelaudio.blogspot.com/2013/04/yellowtec-puc2-lite-usb-to-aesspdif.html

I will present the buyer with two options:

PUC2Lite: £290

PUC2Lite + DH Labs AES cable: £350 (recommended)

The DH Labs AES cable is one of the best at any budget, and huge value at its RRP price. I have discounted it further.

Shipping: £10 to mainland UK, £15 to most EU countries (for exact quote to EU destinations please check with me). Buyer covers the Paypal fees (3.5%).

Didn't take long for you to sell this.

I have not sold it as I have reconsidered. If I decide to sell again I will reopen/repost the ad. It is a matter of getting the right synergies in the system at the moment.

negura,

That didn't take long.  What are you using downstream to replace it?

Did you ever upgrade the firmware for the PUC2 to the latest version, 1.52_2.21, and did you notice any difference to the soundstage dimensionality and dynamic range as compared to the previous version, 1.51?

Yes. It's upgraded to the latest version, but I didn't spend any time to compare the firmware.

Hi,

I can just post two pn per day, that' s why I continue here.

When you look at the website the only model with this front layout is the puc2 mic. The puc 2 and the puc2 lite have a different front plate with another input.
I am getting confused myself. Maybe a pic of the back would help.

Yes. This is the PUC2 Lite. Please see the other two pictures for more detail. Their website picture is inaccurate. If you look at the tech specs there is no headphones output with the PUC2Lite: http://www.yellowtec.de/products-lp/puc2-lp/tech-specs.html

Reviewers have found less is more with these, with the PUC2Lite being the best sounding version.
