Hi everybody so Im quite new to this forum and Im in a desperate situation. I need a pair of noise cancelling headphones. They will be used while studying everyday two hour travel in train and in school. My requirements are comfort, detachable cord and they need to be foldable so I can pack them in my backpack. My budget is around 100 but If somebody can convince me I could stretch it up. I made a research and found these.

Sony MDR - NC200D for 75 Euros

Jvc HA-NC 250 for 114,50 Euros

Creative HN-900 for 69,30 Euros

some pricier stuff:

Audio Technica ATH-ANC7B for 185,99 Euros

Bose QuietComfort 15 QTM for 300 Euros

Thank you for help!

Hello,

I think you are better off with in ear monitors for better isolation

Something like the XBA-1 or A-Jays 2, I like both's SQ but depends on what genre of music you listen to,

If you dislike in ear, the UE6000 is best at 200 but can be found at 100 sometimes

Not all IEMs are fragile... The Sony XBA series is quite good in terms of build quality.

But here's a list of headphone that isolates well and fits your critical
UE6000
SRH-840/440
AKG K167

All these are closed headphones but the UE6k offers active Nc

Thank you I really like those shure srh 440 but they seem to me like big headphones but I think I will take them. But are they comfortable?

To be honest, they are the least comfortable headphone but can be fixed with SRH-840's pads smily_headphones1.gif
