Improvement on Atrios MG7?

So...

Which IEMs are an improvement over the MG7 for those who enjoy the sound quality of the Atrios? I guess what I'm really asking is this: Is there an IEM version of the LCD2 sound quality these days that's not a custom?

(Preferably something that doesn't require an amp.)

Thanks.

I believe some people said the SE846 is similar to the LCD2 or 3. I would ask in the SE846 appreciation thread. I think they said they are similar in sound but the 846 is a little less extended.

Still havent heard anything with this much quality bass, although I am sure there are other IEM's out there that are as good and better, but for the price the MG7's still pretty much

kick major butt after all these years! I just got some GRO7's and the MG7's still have much better bass to me.

Agree on the "quality bass" part - loving my UM Merlin in general, but the real bass king is still the little Atrio smily_headphones1.gif
