Unicorn possible?: bluetooth headphone amp?

My friend convinced me of the benefits of having a headphone amp, and I would to get a beginner allrounder to possibly pair with UE 900's.

I'd like bluetooth, because I have little luck with things being physically attached to my phone and adding bulk. I'm also imagining that I could use them with a bluetooth connection for my laptop, and therefore walk around the house/office a bit without the constant need to unplug myself.

Is there such an animal?

I'm making the (perhaps foolish) assumption that bluetooth doesn't degrade the digital signal, and the amp itself does the DAC conversion. Please educate me as I'm still n00bish.

I did find products such as the http://vampeo.com/ but I don't know for sure if this is even a real/reputable product.

Pretty cool, thanks for the link.

As far as Bluetooth degrading the data...that's the beauty of digital.  As long as audio information is in the digital domain (before conversion to an analog wave) it's just a series of 0's and 1's.  So, either the data get's delivered or it doesn't.  There is no degradation possible, although data corruption is.  However when you're dealing with a very short-range transmission system like Bluethooth, then the chances of corruption are low.

You need something base on Kleer RF in order to avoid compression and signal loss/noise.  Audioengine has systems like this, but they are neither exactly portable nor cheap; plus most companies, like Sennheiser, opt to build complete wireless headphone system based on Kleer rather than making adapters.
