For Sale:
Audio-Technica headphone amplifier with remote control for iPod and iPhone AT-PHA31i

Will Ship To: Anywhere

For sale an Audio-Technica AT-PHA31i iPod/iPhone dedicated headphone amp + remote control, bought during one of my trips to Japan. The amp has very little use, is in mint condition and comes with the original box.

It's a great little beast if you're using an iPod/iPhone as your main source, with the added convenience of the remote control. The amp connects to line out and gets its power directly from the iPod/iPhone (no internal battery). Light and convenient to use.

Not interested in trades. Only Paypal payments accepted, fees supported by me. Shipping worldwide from France, buyers will be responsible for the cost of shipping and any customs fees if they apply.

Please PM me with any questions. Thanks!

Edit: Price drop.

Interested. But what's the battery draw on this? Is it rated?

I can't spot any mention about this in the user manual, but then the manual is only in Japanese (http://www.audio-technica.co.jp/items/contents/101/model/AT-PHA31i/donwload/AT-PHA31i.pdf) so I may be missing something.

This being said, from the limited time that I used it I did not perceive any difference in listening time in vs.using the headphone output on the iPhone. As a general rule, the amplifier stage consumption tends to be marginal vs. the rest of the system (processor, screen etc.) and I don''t think this is different in this case.
