I walk around and listen to music to stay alive. I listen to everything. Jazz, rock, electronic, pop, hip-hop and more. I have a concentration of electronic and hi-hop but my other music is just as important to me. I auditioned a pair of Bowers and Wilkins P5s and the look, build and feel were ideal and the warm sound was nice at times - some folky music sounded good - hip-hop sounded terrible. A lot of songs sounded muddy. It seemed way overpriced. I will be walking around (sometimes biking - so better isolation is a plus but not THE most important feature) with an iPhone so this is a no amp set-up for now. Where should I go next? My max is 300$ but I would go that high if it was worth it. Thanks for your help.
Looking for a good over ear walking headphone for listening to a variety of music with a lot of electronic and hip-hop

Important thing I forgot to mention, I am looking for a pair of on ear headphones. And even though I like a lot of electronic and hip-hop, I enjoy strong mids and warm sound, albeit with good bass and highs if possible - price permitting. Because of my budget I am looking for something maybe towards 200 but if exactly what I am describing is waiting for me at 3 I am willing to break the bank for it.
