I currently have an ER-4PT that I use for music production/editing. It pretty much has no other use, since I use my Phonak PFE 112 for outdoor use.

My Phonak's grey filters are now apparently our of production (according to my local Jaben guy), so the next best thing that I can use would be my ER-4PT.

However, as universally known, the ER-4 series may be very... strict with music. Are there any upgrade (or in this case downgrade) cables that can replace the stock ones? I'm new to upgrade cables, so I'm not sure whether those used in customs like JH Audio are the same. I do know, however, that the UE/Shure ones are different, and I know I can't use those.

You can consider the upgrade cables by APureSound

Although they're kinda expensive IMO
Yeah. Those were one of the first choices I found on the Net. It's easily the only one that shows up in a Google search.

Yeah, they are expensive. Maybe not them.

I found a shop called Null Audio in Singapore. I live (t)here. I was wondering about their quality of service. Doesn't seem too good for foreigners, but for people in Singapore... they don't seem to get much trouble.

They also do Etymotic cables. I was wondering how their cables affect the ultra-neutral ER-4PT.

Well... Good news then. Null posted on their FB page a while back that they have ER4 converters with any cable purchased from them. This means that you can borrow one of their converters to try on their demo sets (only dual pin currently available).

Anyway, I got my converters off eBay, so I'm not so interested in this ATM. Still, I'm finding a cable upgrade for my TF10/SF3 Studio, and am checking out Null.
