looking for full sized headphones over ear for gaming/music/skype

I need some good headphones that deliver a nice punching bass, I'd like a nice soundstage for gaming as well though, I pretty much want to use these for Music, Gaming and Skype (using a clip on mic) I have a Fiio-E06 portable headphone amp that can help drive the bass. I will need to buy them from Amazon.co.uk (amazon gift voucher) under £65 is possible

Do plan to get a better amp sooner or later, Fii-E06 is the first one i've ever had and only got it a little while ago, went for it cause i'm not too well off for a while.

Hmm according to some reviews it lacks in soundstage and also it's a tad over budget for me too.

I just realised I put over ear instead of closed ear which i would prefer as well oops

Well over ear and closed ear are vey different. Over ear refer to the ear cups sitting around your ears rather tham on your esr or in your ear. Open or closed refers to the back of the earcups and whether they are vented and allow air flow or not. The X1 For example is open while the sennheiser 239 is semi open.

Knowing that what exactly are you looking for?

Oh I had no idea. Does allowing airflow increase bass then? I don't mind audio leaking unless it's really severe.

if closed gives better bass then closed xD

well that really depends. You could look into vmoda headphones. Theyre generally pretty good for gaming, look good, a lot of bass, and arent too bad.

I'll look into them, any other suggestions?

Id still put in the sennheiser hd 239 as a contender. Definitely ask around some more!
