Hi
My right ( slave) audioengine a2 speaker died on me a month back after a successful 2 year stint. I have an option to repair it but it is out of warranty. Does anyone know how much will repair cost inc shipping. I live in india so these things are hard to get repaired.
Anyways, to the main issue, i want a new speaker set preferably 2.0 . To tell the truth i need a bigger sound. I have few on my mind after a preliminary research which are available here in india. Swan d1080 iv, 200mkii and maudio av 40.
I am also open to a passive combination of amp plus monitors if thats cheaper and nicer. But it should be available to me in this part of the world(online). So guys help me out here

Peace

"Bigger sound" or "louder sound?" You can certainly get a bigger sound by getting better passive speakers and a t-amp, but I don't know that it would be louder than the A2s.

I have a lot of experience with swan and audioengine. Get the best swan bookshelves in your budget. Just don't get the h series.

Hi , i am able to get d1080 iv around 11k rupees and 200mkii at 16 k. So the question i want to ask is , does 200mkii justifies a 50% premium over 1080iv? Thank you
