For Sale or Trade:
Grado PS500 with 3 Sets of Extra Pads and V-Audio Case- Excellent Condition

Will Ship To: Anywhere

Decided to reopen the listing, as I'm attempting to shuffle around gear again...

Up for sale is an excellent condition Grado PS500 which I purchased from Sound Earphones early in 2012 and used sparingly since that time.  I am just not a big fan of the Grado sound, though I tried to get into it.  I also had a pair of RS-1 which I recently got rid of as well, and neither seem to really do it for me.  Thus, these are up for sale, and in almost new condition as well.  I would estimate about 5-10 hours max on these headphones, and that's a conservative estimate.  I just don't find Grados to be comfortable in general either, so I have decided that its time to get rid of these to fund the eternal cycle of acquiring new gear.

Included are 3 different sets of fresh pads for you to try:  A set of TTVJ Flats, Grado S-cush, and modded HD-414 quarter pads from ebay.  With the included bowl pads that's 4 different pads to try on these.  If I remember correctly, the 3 sets of pads cost me about 70-80 dollars, but I don't remember the exact number.  Also included is a V-Audio Grado case from Ebay, which was also around 30 dollars.

I will cover shipping within the Con US, buyer pays for shipping anywhere else (please message me first, however).  Buyer pays Paypal gift or covers 3.5% fee.  Thanks for checking out my listing and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.  These are beautiful headphones and I'm sure any Grado fan will adore them, but they just aren't for me.

Hi,

How much for shipping to Canada at postal code B3A 3W4?

How would you describe the sound of the PS 500 compared to the RS1. I recently auditioned the RS1 and it was not for me but I have read great reviews on the PS 500.

Hi,

I am new to this site so I am confused by the last message. All it says is PM sent. I don't have any private messages in my inbox. Did you reply to my inquiry? Sorry if this sounds stupid but there is something I am missing.

Hi,

I decided to go with the Audeze LCD 2. Demo'd the PS500 yesterday and while they sounded nice the Grado sound does not do it for me. Thanks again and good luck.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought the LCD2 from Audeze and think I'll work with them for awhile. Good luck.

I apologize to all those who PMed me with interest in these... I've been extremely busy lately with a move and haven't had a chance to respond to PMs.  I have decided to keep them for now and give them another shot for the time being.  I may decide to reopen the listing in the near future if there is any interest.  Hope you all understand and thanks again for the interest.

Back up for sale and taking offers!

Hello,

I have been looking to pick up a set of these. I would pay your listed price if it included shipping to me in Canada at K2B 8S1. What do you think?

I apologize, but I think the shipping might be prohibitively expensive to cover completely to Canada due to the odd shape of the original pizza box.  They're still up for sale, but I have a number of trade offers which I am currently considering.  I could get an estimate, however, and let you know exactly how much it would cost, depending on your preferred shipping method.
