Looking for some new IEMs - but can't decide which to get. (Budget ~ 250$)

Hello friends,

I got a new phone (HTC One) a week ago, and decided to get a new pair of IEMs, because the Beats included with the phone doesn't sound well balanced to me. So I was seeking for some recommendations and reviews on IEMs and found the great Headphone Buying Guide, which is a great place to begin from.

To cut the long story short, after reading the descriptions the following two candidates made it to the shortlist:

(1) Ultimate Ears’ Triple.fi 10 Pro

(2) Monster Turbine Pro Copper

So far, easy going I believed. But as I started to read the reviews on Amazon, I also began to raise more and more doubts towards my shortlist-picks. There is a lot of positive feedback about them both, but also some complains making me overthink my decision. For example the cable on the Triple.Fi 10 sounds to be terrible according to few reviews, and the Monster Turbine seems to completely lack the mids. I wouldn't make such a big deal out of it, but I'd really love to pick up the right ones, since I get to spend less and less time with my HD 650 at home and would like to at least have an acceptable sound quality on the go.

I would be really glad to hear some recommendations with the following facts to consider:

My budget is around 250-300$, I mostly listen to electronic / dubstep, but also to hop-hop and rock. My output is a HTC One phone.

Looking forward to hear some suggestions.

Besta regards,

tpax

For $250, you can get the T-Peos H-200. For $300, you can get the Heir Audio 3Ai. Both are highly rated here.

Thank you, the review for the T-Peos H-200 looks pretty matching so far. Asking myself why those are not even in the IEM list of that guid.

I think that's because it's still quite new to the market. However it is No.2 on ClieOS's list:
