For Sale:
db Labs Tranquility Dac , SIGNATURE Edition - Rare!!

Will Ship To: Anywhere

Hello everyobody,

I would like to sell this rare DAC. It is great for people who appreciate music that is presented in an organic and coherent manner. To my ears it is clearly superior to the Yulong D18 and at least on par with the Violectric V800 in sound quality. It is awesome for vocals and natural, acoustic instruments. The midrange is simply glorious and the best I have heard to this day. How this DAC presents music is addictive, as you can really dive into the music and forget everything around you.

This is a so-called "non oversampling"-DAC. Regardless of what you think you know about NOS, in this case non-oversampling doesn't mean no detail or no PRAT - the Tranquility SE has plenty of that !

I don't want to sell this because I don't like it (anymore), but because I need a dead-neutral DAC for home redording and critical evaluation of these recordings. If it was just for pure enjoyment of music I would never sell it, it's that good! I just can't justify (and afford) having two high-end DACs, so that's why this one needs to go.

Costs $2.395 new!

I am the second owner.

This device is in very good condition and operates as it should. Needs 220 V! If you're from a country with different voltage you will need a transformer or you could contact db Labs and have the voltage adjusted by them, which is not expensive.

Kept in a pets and smoke-free home. No original packaging.

EDIT 26.11.13:

I now found the kind of DAC I have been looking for, so this one is up for sale again. My loss is your gain....!

EDIT 28.11.13:

PRICE DROP! Now below 500€, do you realise what a great price/performance ratio that is...?

This is an excellent DAC. I'd buy it myself if funds permitted. Great price too.

I always make it clear when something has been sold, yet I sometimes receive PMs months after I close a listing asking whether the product in question is still available. What can you do? Lol.
