For Sale:
Tangent Modified Linkwitz Crossfeed board and complete kit

Will Ship To: USA

For sale is a Modified Linkwitz Crossfeed board that was designed and sold by Warren Young at tangentsoft.com. Mr. Young no longer manufactures these boards, so this may be your last chance to get one. Gentleman prefer crossfeed! This is the most professional crossfeed circuit board you'll find. The Modified Linkwitz Crossfeed is wonderful. I have had several different kinds and this is my favorite by far. I think this design, based on a circuit modified by the legendary Chu Moy, is the least destructive of any of the crossfeeds. Wonderful sounding and lets you prolong your listening pleasure by hours without fatigue. I recently built one of these boards and bought enough parts from Mouser and eBay to build two. I have decided to pass long one of these projects in DIY kit form. This is ALL the parts you need to build the switchable crossfeed found at:

The parts include Vishay 1% resistors and Nichicon capacitors, but I changed my mind and upgraded the 0.12uf caps to some vintage polystyrene Sprague 114p films caps. I have some smaller Spragues 0.12 I'll toss in, too, when I find them. These main caps are paper and foil and are big caps (as you can see in the photos) but they sound amazing and fit well inside the stompbox cast aluminum project box that comes with the parts. The 1/8" input jacks are Switchcraft ( a little tricky to solder as they are vertical mount and don't have holes, but they work fine) and the DPDT switches are very nice quality switches I source from Austin.  I will also include (not pictured) enough 22 gauge solid core copper wire (3 colors) to wire the box up, so you'll have absolutely everything in one package and don't have to sweat different shippers like me. You just have to assemble (a pretty easy project). You'll need to drill your project box holes. The stomp box is still sealed and mint in its wrapper.

This kits puts together a rock solid desktop stand-alone crossfeed for the headphone audiophile! Very sturdy in its heavy aluminum case!

I'm selling it at my parts price. USA shipping only. Payment via paypal. Price includes Priority Mail shipping.

PRICE DROP to $34. The one I built is breaking and and these parts will build you a wonderfully clear and detailed crossfeed. If you're a serious headphone user and haven't employed crossfeed in your signal, you really don't know what youre missing. This design is meant to go between your source and your amp, so you can use it with any equipment you own.

Bump for price dropl Don't miss out. This is an incredible sounding design. My caps are breaking in and mine sounds better and better. For this kind of money you'd be silly not to try crossfeed. The one I built is breaking in now and and these parts will build you a wonderfully clear and detailed crossfeed. If you're a serious headphone user and haven't employed crossfeed in your signal, you really don't know what youre missing. This design is meant to go between your source and your amp, so you can use it with any equipment you own. Price will not go lower.
