Fiio E10 / E06 combo or Fiio E07K

Hello. I'm an entry level budget-fi and since joining head-fi about a month ago I've learned a lot of new stuff including what a DAC is.

Anyways I am in need of a DAC as I want to bypass my IDT soundcard on my Dell when using headphones but also want an amp to up the volume on my Sansa Clip when in my car as I have to crank everything to the highest possible volume.

I am currently in China and Fiio products are at least a quarter of the price of my home country and I like to keep the total price in the sub $100 range which I can do with these options.

I've read everything I can about the Fiio E10, E06 and the E07K but not sure if I should go for the Fiio E10 / E06 or fill my needs with a E07K DAC / AMP combined.

I was thinking of an ELE DAC which is like $8 but from what I have read it isn't as warm sounding as the Fiio products, which I prefer.

Opinions?

A FiiO E07K or E17 are about the only two FiiO products that will work with a PC (DAC & Amp) and a Sansa Clip (amp only).

Yeah. That I am aware of that but my question is more do I get better "performance" with separate specialized devices for each task with an E10 and E6 or with a combined DAC/Amp E07k?

Edit: Actually when i comes down to it I want more of a V shape signature. What I have read is that the first model of the E7 is more neutral and the E10 is more what I am looking for.

So what I am asking really are the following:
1. So has the signature changed with the updated E07K?
2. Will the E06 suffice to volume boost my Sansa Clip?
3. What makes a better desktop amp? the E07K or the E10?
