Well, I actually own the Shure SRH940s. They are a great set of headphones, the best detail and clarity I've ever heard actually. They are, however, a little bright for my taste. If they had just a little less treble and more bass they would be perfect. I also own AKG K240, which I know doesn't have a very balanced sound. I think I'll just give the K545s a shot.

Please post your experience with the K545 in comparison to the 940 after you get them. I have owned the 940 as well and think the K545 might be just the thing for you but want to read your impressions.
