I am currently using a Yamaha SV150 electric violin and a bose soundlink portable speaker to busk wherever possible as I travel. The soundlink can push great quality loud sound without missing a beat. However, the amp that comes with the violin isn't quite producing the decibels I need for metros and the like so I'm looking for a portable amp to give the bose system the push it needs without losing the integrity of the violin.
I'm no purest, I use loop pedals and effects on the violin but sound quality is extremely important. I carry everything I own in a backpack so it is vital that it be small and light. I'm trying to keep the costs below $100 but if there is something that will exponentially increase my sound quality and portability I would be willing to make the investment.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
