Bump,

Newbie here, getting my first headphone amp, the E18... Been reading a lot.. This thread was top notch..

I have a Note 3/Note 10.1 all seem to work with the E18 flawlessly...

I have a pair of AKG K550 on the way.. I was on the verge of getting the E17, but then the E18 was mentioned, Wow!!

Seems like I am in for a treat..

Hello all,

although this is an old thread, here's my solution for carrying the e18. I simply use a longer cable :)

I bought a USB cable from *bay (http://www.ebay.de/itm/Micro-USB-2-0-Verlangerungskabel-weis-50cm-0-5m-voll-beschaltet-inkl-ID-Pin-/121385989721?pt=DE_Computing_USB_Kabel_Hubs_Adapter&hash=item1c432b3659) and soldered a micro USB plug to the other end. It is important that is a cable with all the 5 strands, 4 USB and one ID.

Now I can put my S4 into one pocket, the e18 into the other one. My headphone cable also may be short, because it just needs to reach the e18 in my left pocket.

Hi. Does anyone noticed when you are using the E18 as a dac to the note 2, everytime a message came through IM (I'm using whatsapp) there's a kind of short pause/click?
I have muted the notifications.
I did rooted my phone and is using setcpu.
Any thoughts why?
