But who wants that for US$2,400 you can buy a hm901 + sony zx1 and still have money left instead of buying astell and kern Ak240

thats if the ak240 is sold at that price and not somewhere on the same price as other high ends

What a pitty that the CALYX M do not have more than 64 Gb inside !

A Total128 Gb is a real NO NO and a stupid enginering mistake !  I have + 250 Gb of High res files like most audiophiles !

If they were smart they will offer also upgraded versions like :
- 128 Gb for $ 1200
- 256 Gb for $ 1400

This will make us happy and they will make some extra margin.

May be someone should tell their marketing "experts" that 128gb internal+external is à real deal breaker because  High-Res files eat a lot of room ?

I would go for 256 gb version and look no more for a dap loooooong long time. However, I am sure they won't do it, I wish they would...

I guess I for a different era, carrying around about 100 HD albums would work for me, never would listen to all of them in one day (or 5 days for that matter)  before I reload. Guess that comes from the days of just carrying 2 or 3 cassette tape to put into to my Walkman.

I sent an email to Calyx about a few questions related to M. One of them asks for a higher capacity option too. When they answer, I will share it in here.
