$999 Calyx M with DXD + DSD, 64GB + SD + µSD storage - Page 23

Thanks mate. Looks really big.

(insert "that's what she said" jokes in here)

Weird - anyone else notice that the pics above do not match those on the official website?

(corners more rounded on official website, and the front of the bezel is very different). I think the pics above may be of an earlier prototype.

The pics below are from the official website (http://www.calyx.kr/):

Big is the new small. That size just put it off any consideration from me.

......  NVM.  Not worth ranting.

Surprisingly the size doesn't really both me. It still is slim enough to slide in a pocket and since it is mostly touch screen I can see the larger screen being helpful (with large fingers it is sometimes a task to navigate).

size is not my immediate concern, but will they release a LOD or sort so to get the line out?  If not, I am out.

Line-out is definitely a concern. My guess they are going to do the same thing AK does, focusing on a very clean HO.

Looks like longer, wider but slimmer than DX100.

This is a working sample before mass-production. The real one is smaller than this but as the one in the www.calyx.kr

hope the interface is less annoying than the website...

I'd still like to try it. Give it a chance.

According to the website it has a 'slide' volume control. I would be seriously worried about accidental sliding while in my pocket. And no external fwd/rev buttons is a major downer.
