That's not what I was referring to. My remark was aimed at Solude's comment.

We must be literally just a week or two away from some Korean first-impressions, surely?

Probably, I am also waiting to see them.

Go back a page where someone implied that it has to be a lot better than the AK100 Mk2 to be worth its price tag.

I think D&A said, somewhere on facebook, that they were considering commissioning a leather case for the M, but I haven't seen any mention of this recently.

I think everyone is curious about any hi-res player to Calyx M comparison. It's going to be another personal battle.

Maybe it's time to pull the popcorn.gif

I have an SE846. How would impedence affect it? I'm not good with these technical terms and how it affects the SQ coming out of the setup :(

No output impedance to speak of so no effect on the 846 curve.

Is there technical details of the interior audio circuitry?  I don't even know what DAC is used inside.  How come they don't show you the audio system architecture like the AK, ibasso, or Fiio?

They're absolutely deaf to any commonsense on the issue. Typical of desktop gear makers/users making a pocket device but not thinking of, or caring, what pocket users' requirements actually are.

The pins on the bottom of the DAP are not news, but I'm surprised they haven't shown a picture of a charging dock, yet.

Pretty sure those are screws.  It charges from USB.  Until we know how it handles volume changes while locked... we just don't know if the slider is an issue.  It is after all a digital control.  Will it jump to where it is on unlock, will it stay where it was, will it ramp up/down?  I don't know.
