AK240.. hm802 bro... But I couldn't compare those at the place because the people from the company districted to do that.

I'm sleeping now... get you after my sleep:)

Second thought, in world of high end audio the word - discount - is not existing, rather take it or leave it. You check Naim, Wilson, McIntosh, DAgostino and them likes, none of them would give you price off on new product, sure older models can be discounted by dealers but not new ones.

On the rest, i was willing to jump blind on M if discount, now that promotion is off the table i will wait for SQ impressions and will decide then.
Talking about product on the merits of discount or no discount makes little sense imho.

I think we have exhausted the discussion already since there is no discount, let's not talk about it any more.

Here are some pictures of the produced model of M...

We had a sudden meeting in a cafe...

Those two metal volts will be changed to Black.

The photos were takin by GrainKey

The actual product was very luxurious n neat. Not too heavy but felt rock solid as iphone...

the UI was smooth but could be better(as good as galaxy2)....well... the ceo said they can't release the actual UI till the final duedate because of the security reason.... Which He claimed to be released sometime around April.(possibly...early May...my assumption) but the picture shown is actual final product as I know.

These photos are what we took(Naver Calyx user web cafe: http://cafe.naver.com/calyxm/236) by us... not by the company... whole the body is nice n smooth w/ cutting edge material(some sort of metal...) gorilla glass... magnetic volume.... (Is it bad to make a quote? please let me know if it's wrong.. I'm a newbe here...)

Simply was unique n nothing to pick on unless I wish it would be a little smaller...but packed fully w/the awesome sound!!

Think of it as a player w/portable amp + DAC... I hate the rubber band thing looks cheesy and even more bulkier...

We've tried were... BnW P5, AKG's k812, Phidelio X1 by Philips, sony's SbH-X3, ie800 of Sennheiser,  S-EM6 by Earsonics, Sony 1r MK2, Skullcandy Aviator, and several more including Carddas

Please recognize:Those pictures or what I say is not official... I'm not one of a Calyx member...I'm just a user wannabe waiting for Calyx M  comes officially to the market just had this wonderful chance to look at those.

The Sound was nothing to compare...seriously.

The output was big enough to hit the K812...and even HD800...

I will be back w/small comment review.

How's the volume slider? Does it move too easily? Some are worried it might accidentally get pushed around while in a pocket. What headphones did you test it with? I see Skullcandys, but don't recognize the other pair...

It will be totally unbiased... I swear.

What good if I kiss their ass?

Nope... It was rather too tight... I could touch the proto model  a month ago, and that was just right. The CEO said What I get on the market will be as smooth as the proto one.

One thing for sure  is.... nothing like falling off... (you will notice once you touch it.)

I'm 6feet tall and weigh just about 230, It was hard for me to detatch the button.

K812 is the flagship of AKG, Phidelio X1 is by philips nicely priced considering quality...etc.

I'm going to church... get you later./
