Is it worth changing from the Sony MDR-ZX100s to Sennheiser HD 419s?

Title says it all. My main preference in music is Progressive House (Approaching Nirvana mainly) so I was wondering if somebody that owned both pairs could vouch in whether it was a good switch, or any other headphones that would be better. If it's not worth it, I'll be buying an amp, maybe the E5 or the E6, I still need to know which one is better, because it seems like they are the same amp.

I had the ZX100 once - I tore out the awful drivers and replaced them with half decent ones and gave it away.

The HD419 is a COLOSSAL upgrade over the ZX100.

I've auditioned it a number of times and it's one of the best sounding in it's price range.

For the HD419 you don't need an amp, unless you want to turn the volume down on your phone/ipod/mp3 player to save it's battery life.

I am springing for a pair of Panasonic RP-HTF600-S headphones (It was on the summer 2013 buying guide) because looking at the reviews from this site, I saw that the bass was underwhelming for the 419s, and bass is one of my main priorities. I am definitely buying the FiiO E6 amp because the way that I listen to music can cause a lot interference. Any thoughts or suggestions of other headphones that are better at the same price range?
