For Sale or Trade:
FS/FT: Audio-gd C 10 Power amplifier [!PriceDrop!]

Will Ship To: Shipped EU

Looking to sell my Audio-gd C 10 Power amplifier [http://www.audio-gd.com/Pro/amp/C-10N/C10NEN.htm]

It is a discontinued product which was bought almost a decade ago, MSRP was 1590$ + shipping.

However, in quality it competes with the current "Master" series [namely the Master-3], sporting almost identical components and topology.

The unit is in perfect working order and can be used to power hard to drive gear, planarmagnetic speakers & headphones.

The unit has but one flaw, which is the fact that it can sometimes cause a blackout in your house. The cause of this is unknown and this happens only sometimes. There is no sign of any malfunction and the unit does run perfectly once powered on.

As long as you keep it connected to the power socket this does not happen often and the probable cause is because this thing is massive and simply draws quite a lot of power on power on. There's no sign of short circuiting. The unit will be tested again prior to being shipped out to ensure it is in perfect working order.

Cosmetically, it is in near-mint condition save for a few scratches. Fully aluminium casing. It does run fairly warm so will also serve as a mini heater ^_-.

Note that this unit has NO volume control [other than using digital volume on your own device].

If you want to use some sort of precise volume controlling, a preamplifier is recommended.

Includes a basic EU 230V power cord,

Price includes shipping [within EU] and PP fees. International shipping is possible but will increase shipping costs.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I strive to provide excellent service and as much help as possible. I have very good feedback here, so deal with confidence. Thank you for looking.

Regards

conq

Have you tried local sale sites? You should also put the sale thread in your sig, might get more views.

Why aren't you using it with the HE-560?

Use the SA-31 as a pre-amp :p. Should have told me you had this monster, the NFB-27 would have been the better choice for it :p

This monster is staying in the cupboard. It's too heavy, hot and impractical to get any real usage from me.
It's a great piece of kit but not for me anymore.

Hell of an amp.  I have heard a bunch of Audio GD speaker amps and they all sound pretty much the same.  Neutral, powerful, articulate and detailed as all get out.  Plus despite the high power rating they really sound awesome with high efficiency speakers.  That price is insane.

I feel for you, with the 500€ round-trip shipping cost to AudioGD. :)

Shame this isn't the 120V version... I would bite instantly.  I bet this would sound great with a pair of Magnepans?

It would, though. A step down 240 - 120V transformer shouldn't be more than 50 Pounds. I use a 120 - 240V one for my Theta :)
