i was looking to buy some headphones and read ath m50 is best. Then i read the A900x is better than the m50. Then i read its better to get ad1000 or ad2000 rather than the A900x. So what is actually the best. Please break it down.

The best, don't know if there is one. But I'd settle for the Sennheiser Orpheus system.

i had the latest ad900x b4 (open can) ...big sounding, quite clear..balanced, easy to power off your ipad/fone...

big drivers too, i think the closed version a900x should give u a good bang for your money without venturing further north$$$.

At your budget (150 GBP) the AD900X or A900X are the best Audio technicas you could get.
