I pulled out my Metallica  Justice For All album in FLAC and gave 'Blackened' a run with all three.

AX60 has the best treble response, gave the best shimmer, also the best soundstage and imaging but the bass decay was slow and couldn't keep up with the kick drum completely, the BA's were doing fine but the low end was a touch sluggish and guitars sounded a little smooth (something that might bother you), it's that warmth in the mid range I speak about. The Dunu was faster in the low end, had better grind with guitars because it sounds cleaner but the soundstage wasn't as impressive,  it sounded closed in compared. H-200 did guitars the best, it has that grunge sound to it in the upper mids and comes in real close behind AX60's treble, but again the stage width is narrow. Actually have H-200 going now still and they're ripping it to pieces rather well. (good old H-200)  The problem is with H-200 at the volume I'm listening now it's already becoming fatiguing and it's a touch squeaky or metallic in those upper mids as a trade off.

So my personal vote for that song in particular would be:

1) H-200
2) DN-1000
3) AX60

That's going for speed and guitar grind, not judging the soundstage and imaging which AX60 takes prizes. It's just the AX60 is made to sound smoother so it won't render out the grind in guitars as well as the others to these ears.

Thanks mate! It's just how I predicted them. I'm having difficulty finding a real upgrade for my H200 because it just sounds stellar with heavy metal and other fast tempo rock n roll. The XBA 3 comes close but there's just no substitute for the natural timbre/decay from Dynamic drivers at this price range.

Yes I understand completely, if you ever see a pair of GR07 MK2 floating around pick them up cheap and amp them. I have long lasting memories of listening to heavy metal with the Vsonic, I can't say it would be a complete upgrade but some of the best guitar grind you'll find without selling a kidney.

Having another listen yesterday I wasn't overly thrilled with that Mr Bill album the second time, but I have something much better to make up for it.
