I know it's a Shure 1540 thread but please excuse me just this one time.

How doe's the w1000x stack up against the TH900?  Interested to know...  PM me if you don't mind.

I hope there wasn't a discount code for moon audio that I didn't know of...

Either way, I'm going to be selling some gear real soon because of this...

Actually... bought it from another place because of a discount code (and because they accepted Paypal)... They have been my "go to" store for most of my Shure purchases (SRH940, SRH1840, SE215 and now these guys) but since they have not processed it yet (and I'm not sure if they will accept it or not) I haven't posted it...

Cheer you two guys. I am excited to hear and read your reviews or thoughts.

Was it a big enough discount for me to have a heart attack?!?

... and I used Paypal with Moon-Audio...

Not sure if it's heart-attack inducing but a few bucks it's a few bucks... YGPM.

Was the mids talked about?  If they are recessed or not.  The ADs are tuned to be neutral these are tuned to be "fun" it sounds like with a boost in the bass.  I wonder if this is going to be a U shaped headphone with recessed mids.  Must have a good listen.

The sound sign of Shure SRH1540s could be present warm bass, neutral flat mid, extend high but not harsh open in closed headphone design, tackle some disadvantages of Shure SRH1840. That was from what I get from Jude's video and he said these headphone has a safe tuning.

sounds a litttle like teh w1000x. It's got nice intimate mids, a bump in bass and sadly grainy treble as it's biggest downfall
