Recommendations Beyerdynamic DT1350 and HD 25-1 but comfortable for long listening

Hi All,

I am extremely happy at home with my HiFiman HE-400 and grado SR80 but I am still missing something on my portable:

1. Currently I am using some etymotic but I do not want in ear
2. I have DT 1350 but they hurt after a while even with velour
3. I have HD 25 as well and they do not sound as good as the DT 1350. I prefer that sound
4. I had the vsonic GR07 but lost them. They were great but again do not want in ear.

There are so many out there now. I am looking for something like the DT 1350 but maybe over ear or at least more comfortble. Have not demoed the new Beyerdynamic T51p yet so might be an option if some else has and says they are worth it. Or maybe the momentum or the new P7.

Want to keep the price below $500

My ideal would be bluetooth but that has been a failure . I tried the Sony MDR-1RBT and they were base heavy.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Larry

Guess the Senn and The DT 1350 is the best choices. They just hurt my ears when wear long periods. Anyone try the new T51p

Apparently there's a new DT1350 facelift version that supposedly has larger earpads.  I don't know either DT1350's but maybe someone who's tried both can attest to whether or not comfort has been improved with these new pads.
