Hey guys,

32 (soon 33) year old father of two, married guy working as a database manager/systems developer at a medical university. I live in Sweden as you may well know by now, but in case you didn't: now you do. I am also actually born in Finland, with a French stepfather which had me talking Finnish, Swedish and French before learning English. My first French phrase I ever learned was: "Mon zizi est bleu", which kind of explains my stepfather's sense of humour, which has, unfortunately, colored my own sense of humour. My English pronunciaton is more akin to the queens British English rather than American English, although I've been told I master both British, American and Australian accents quite well. I also suffer from bipolar disorder, and why I'm telling you this is because lately I've been noticing how greatly it impacts my life, in everything I do - I can't seem to get balanced; I'm either very depressed or very hypomanic, or sometimes both, which is not a good combination at all. This affects my moods on head-fi as well.

As far as life experience goes, well, I've had plenty. I've worked on a ship, I've worked as a tin-smith making ventilation drums and such, I've worked in restaurants, I've worked in sales and so on. That was before going to university, where I spent quite some time, studying graphic illustration, sociology, and now lately computer science. Aside from all that, I've had bouts of mental illnesses, drug abuse, destructive "friendships" and I've had my losses against the law. Suffice to say, I've had a turbulent life. As you see, there are dark sides to me as well, and that's pretty much how I see people - noone is 100% good or bad, we're all really a mixture of feelings, experiences, actions and so on, and whether those things are "good" or "bad" is irrelevant imo.

Music wise I'm mostly all electro, however, I do have my bouts of hiphop every now and then. Mostly Def Jux stuff.

Gear wise, I have quite a few headphones and DAPs, but I'm going to sell most of it. I'm going to keep my X10i and HD25. Maybe I will get a full sized later on, but for now those two will do just fine.

That's pretty much all for now. Cheers.

Indeed, welcome Coq. I've seen your posts on the Diary, and I'm glad you're trying to get back on track. I hope for the very best for you.

Thank you Argyris. Yeah, I've spent most of my posts in the diary thread(s). Getting back on track is a long project, but I'm taking it one day at a time. :)
