Out of box the sound is very dull and veiled. Treble is very recessed not like what I read in the topic. I was expecting a treble happy iem but this is so far away from being it. The mids are like it's coming from a cave. This is only for 5 minutes listening impressions but as a burn-in period believer, I think the sound will change after a good burn in time maybe at least 50 hours. I will update my review after  100 hours I think. Stay tuned!!

Hi ozkan,
If you compare with sf5 what can you say? smily_headphones1.gif

Hello puskuruk,

I think it is too early for an accurate comparison as I only listened it only maybe 2 hours since I got it. For now, Lg Qb2 has more mid-bass, recessed mids and treble than Sf5. Overall Sf5 is clearer and extends better. Please keep in mind that they are different type of iems but I think Qb2 has some pottencial to show its strenghts over time. Btw, the tips that come with Qb2 is very poor quality. When I changed the tips to Sf5 silicone tips, I hear less veil to the sound. Tips rolling and burning them now.

Someone could compare this with Brainwavz Delta :P ?

We can compare dx50 and x3 you know. Why we can't compare sf5 and qb2? I'm asking overall sound quality.

Because Sf5 is armature and Qb2 is dynamic iems you know. I've already answered your question in my previous post. Please check it.

I read your answer. But I can't continue arguing with you. Because we can compare ex1000 and w4 you know.

The overall sound is rather inoffensive without sibilance. It doesn't do much wrong.

I like to EQ down the mid bass and turn up the deep bass though.

Not sure I agree it's on the technical or resolution level of some of the more expensive in-ear mentioned but it's not that for behind.

Even though the cable is better than the MH1C it's still sub par. The ergonomics of the housing is seemingly much better for an around the ear fit than straight down but the stiffness of the flat cable makes it a bit troublesome.

Cable noise is too much as well.

I find the housing perfect for wearing straight down (which I generally prefer).

From my listening... You have nothing to fear. Can't wait for u to get them ASG 2's BTW!

I just gave the songs listed in my first post another listen after a cool off period(work had me uninterested). My impression remain the same.

D marc, how would u compare the sub bass of the H200 to this phone?

^ Wait Unity are you REALLY diggin' your ASG 2s now after the replacement??? From what i have gotten out of all your impressions so far you are still kinda lukewarm on them and still prefer the gr07 BEs more???

Remember you stating that the subbass was really disappointing when compared to the gr07 BEs or something. Just want to see where you stand on these ASG 2s now Unity.

No contest here. Re-0 is a clear winner. I am very dissapointed that the treble quality and extention is nowhere near Re-0s. Again it's early impressions but I think it is getting better with time so let's wait and see.

Hello good sir!

Overall, FOR ME they are overpriced phones, sounding better in some aspects(vocals) and worse in others(bass and highs) compared to my beloved GR07 vanilla/BE's. I think G'man said they seem to be in the same tier... seems legit.

The fist set had something going on in the lows that left me quite(quite) disappointed. The new set corrected my incoherency issue but the presentation is still not loved and the bass port seems quite useless after trying out some wub wub at full blast. However, eke posted the picture of the boxer as a analogy of what the port did, I had an idea of what to expect.... turns out I didn't like it.

Listening to the Ben Howard song eke PMed me, I discerned a bit of air added to vocals and instruments compared to my 07's.

Listening to that Phaeleh song, the sub-bass to mid-bass balance was better liked on my GR07's.

Listening to this vid, I perceived the 07's as closer to the detail I remember from my HFI 580's.

^OMG, ups. Lol

The improvements(where had) were too small, the losses too important, and the price of admission too high.

It also doesn't help that I was already quite(quite!)happy with what the GR07's deliver in build(has been solid), comfort(I sleep like a baby with them), design(love the simple look and finish... Love), sound(it's no HFI 580 but quite competent), and price(paid $150 for my first set(currently $130), $650 say what?).
