looking for open headphones, home use, suitable for a wide variety of genres.

as it says in the title, home use only, so i would like a full pair of headphones, open, over ear. here are some more specifics about my sound history:

Budget: ~$800

Source: foobar2000 (all lossy, 320/256k v0)->Fiio E17+E09K

Type: Open, full sized.

Tonal: Fun, musical, bit of bass.

Listens to: Alternative, hip-hop, indie emo, synthpop (primarily, but i dip into everything)

Previous cans: Currently own Beyerdynamic DT1350, great portable phones, but treble is harsh at times and not comfortable for long periods of time. At home I used to own AKG K701 (no bass, no thanks), Skullcandy Aviator, AKG K550 and AKG K271. also owned the ATH-AD700's which i found to be very enjoyable, but the bass had to be equalized pretty high.

as you can see i've been through a variety of headphones and am looking to chill with one pair for a really long time in an attempt to one, stop using speakers as to not disrupt others and to have a more manageable listening space that isn't demanded by using speakers. i've had my eyes on the HD700 as of late but am unfamiliar with any Sennhesier prodcuts. never got to use them/demo them. any help is appreciated. if you need more questions/specifics, i'll do my best to contribute an answer.
