Remember the lukewarm revival of the Pontiac GTO? That was a rebadged Holden Monaro, and the closest I can get to a left-hand drive version. Ford and GM have their own muscle car thing over there, even a V8 touring car championship. It's kind of like DTM in Germany, but it's everything I wish I can see in Long Beach or something instead of family sedans getting big V8's to drive around in circles, crashing, and sending burning slicks at my face (when presumably I'd already be dodging the drunk in the red checkered shirt over his white wife-beaters behind me).

Yeah, this was based on a real car.

Not sure if i should just group the huge companies like ford and GM with all their sub companies or not yet but I might ie like Chevy,Pontiac,Cadillac etc are all GM cars or Lincoln,Mercury are all ford cars. But if i did that i would have to do it with Honda/acura or toyata/lexas or Nissan/datsun/infinity cars as well i would think

I think its more interesting to see what brand names people think of first, rather than the mother group.  Besides some company's own brands from multiple country's.
