For Sale:
Audeze LCD 2 rev 2 Rosewood w/ LCD 3 pads (Mint condition)

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I'm selling my Audeze LCD 2 rev 2 Rosewood w/ LCD 3 pads.  I've included many pictures below to give you as much info as possible.  As you can tell from the pictures, the condition is immaculate, as I used it for less than 50 hours since I purchased it last November and always kept the headphone on the Sennheiser headphone stand (I purposely bought this U-shaped stand as opposed to any others in order to make sure that the leather would not crease as a result of any sharp edges on the stand).  I'm very careful with my audio equipment, and I can assure you that the headphone has minimal usage and is in very good condition.  Moreover, this headphone is in fact the rev 2.  If you want to double check, you can email Audeze and email them the serial number posted in the pic, and they'll confirm that it is the rev 2.

Lastly, the pads currently installed on the LCD 2 are the LCD 3 pads, which required significant effort on my part to obtain, since Audeze does not sell these pads to LCD 2 owners.  I purchased the pads new from Head-fi through a lot of convincing and cajoling.  I made the great effort to get the LCD 3 pads because, after comparing the two at a local audio store, the LCD 3 pads resolve much of the comfort problems with the LCD 2 pads that I'm sure you're all aware of.  In short, the LCD 3 pads make the headphones feel as comfortable as the Denons.  The LCD 2 pads, while not terrible, were not as comfortable after about an hour of use.  Moreover, the LCD 3 pads were more soft and encompassing, such that the sound was more enveloping.  I felt that the bass response was better and the sound clearer.

I am asking for the price above mainly because of the LCD 3 pads, which are rather hard to get for LCD 2 owners.  The pads alone costed over $100, and the LCD 2 in Rosewood, as you all know, costed over $1100 with tax and shipping.  Given the pristine condition and minimal usage, I think the asking price is very reasonable.

I'm selling because, as much as I love the sound of these headphones, I realized that I rarely use them and listen to my music more from my bookshelf speakers than my headphones.  As a result, I think it'd be best to part ways with them and just focus on getting better speakers and subs.

Please feel free to PM me with any questions.  Also, please excuse me if I delay in responding back.  I've been very busy with work these days.  In fact, I've been meaning to post this ad up for quite some time (while my headphones just sat inside the case doing nothing), but was too busy to do so because of work.  I should respond back within a day or possibly two.

Thank you for reading my post.

The item will be shipped from CA.  I may be able to meet you in person in Los Angeles, Fresno, or the Bay Area, depending on which weekend it is.
